"4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offering, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD. 6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in bason; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. 8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words" (Exodus 24:4-8).

The Covenant A Contract Rejected By: Philip Mitanidis;
As you have read in the above verses, the "Covenant" was ratified at the foot of Mount Sinai between the LORD of hosts and the children of Israel. But, originally, the Covenant was ratified between the LORD of hosts and Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. "The Covenant A Contract Rejected" reveals, why Moses was told to build a Sanctuary? What was the "holy place" and the "most holy place" of the Sanctuary? What did these two rooms contain? Why the High priest was not allowed to go into the "most holy place" of the Sanctuary during the year? What is "the Day of Atonement"? Why were the people asked to sacrifice an animal in the eastern courtyard of the Sanctuary? Why was the ceremonial law added to the Ten Commandments (Galatians 3:19)? When was the ceremonial law abolished and by whom? What is the new Covenant? Why is the new Covenant rejected? And much, much more. Regarding the Covenant, Malachi the prophet asked the question about 425 BC, "10 why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?" (Malachi 2:10). And today we can ask, "Why is the new Covenant rejected by many religious institutions and deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant? Is it because the ceremonial law was abolished on Calvary's cross? Or, is there more to it?" A must read for a serious Bible study on the Old and New Covenants; and the reason why the Sanctuary was built in the first place and then abandoned by God!
